Emma Gorge

We stayed on at Parry Farm an extra day so we could head up the Gibb River Road just a little way to Emma Gorge and the El Questro Resort.
Emma Gorge required an hour scramble over very large rocks. It was 35 degrees but the further we went into the Gorge that rose.
 The Path!
The Reward.

The children had a ball under this waterfall.
But we did have to share it with several slippery critters.
We discovered this one as we started to leave.

There were five or so lying on the rocks or hanging in trees on the path out. You had to watch where you put your hands to steady yourself. They didn't seem to be very concerned about humans.
