We visited El Questro out of curiosity really. It was a Station that had reverted to the indigenous and leased out as a private resort. There were all the things that many people expect of an East Kimberly experience.
The inevitable river crossings, camping areas, cafe and gift shops, every adventure ride you could imagine, even horse tours. We were interested in the private camp sites out along the river. They are quite secluded and the only facility is a shared bush toilet like this one between two sites.

| I thought these were clever. They are built on skids so they can be moved out during the wet. They simply put them back somewhere for the season and pile up earth so you can reach the steps. |

For $2,000:00 per night you could rent a cabin at the original homestead and not have to mix it with the plebs. This is as close as they get. Kylie M and Nicole K are in the guest book. The springs are supposedly closed to the public after lunch for guests exclusive use and they have their own croc guides and tours. You fly into the old Station airstrip.
If you have good eyes you may be able to pick out the large white outdoor baths on the secluded decks of the cabins in the top photo.
There is a magnificent pool overlooking the cliff on the far left of the bottom pic. |
If you have noticed this post has been changed then give yourself a big tick as an Advanced Blog Reader. Fiddle Fingers managed to lose it somehow!!! Proof reader not happy !! I was trying to improve the river crossing photo and a little accident happened.
