After driving 34 km on an OMG road followed by a 2 km walk across the dry wetland we were amazed to see a lake swarming with birdlife. There was no way you could get close but we just stood there for a long time trying to take the scene in. I have never heard such amazing swan songs. The photos will not do it justice. Ed. one lake is over 7000acres and the other over 9000acres
