After picking up supplies in Hughenden we headed 60kms out to Porcupine Gorge. Well that didn't go so well really.
Seems you have to book to stay in this NP. So not only did we stay illegally we pulled into a tent site, as all the caravan sites were full - only to discover you could attract up to 20 penalty points towards an on the spot fine. Fortunately we were up and gone early before the Rangers arrived!
The Gorge was beautiful though.
